Pastor Rob Green and his wife, Stephanie encourage moms and dads to prepare themselves spiritually for the changes that will take place with the arrival of their newborn. The Greens share what kind of «help» is most beneficial to a new mother and her newborn, and they list the top three things a couple needs to know before the baby is born.
Rob Green has been the pastor of counseling and seminary ministries at Faith Church in Lafayette, Ind., since 2005. His responsibilities there include oversight of the Faith Biblical Counseling Ministry and teaching New Testament at the Faith Bible Seminary. Green wasn’t always a pastor; he has a B.S. in engineering physics from Ohio State University and after college wrote computer programs to process credit cards. After feeling a call to the ministry he entered seminary, eventually earning a M.Div. and a Ph.D. from Baptist Bible Seminary.
Green also serves on the council board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and has authored a number of counseling mini books. He and his wife, Stephanie, have three children: Joseph, Samuel and Mackenzie. The family makes their home in Indiana.
Stephanie Green, RN is a homemaker and also mentors women in Faith Church, Lafayette, Indiana. She is the author of minibook, Miscarriage: You Are Not Alone and worked as a registered nurse for more than a decade primarily in the newborn nursery and postpartum units. Stephanie is currently homeschooling their youngest child. One of the ministries Stephanie enjoys most is mentoring. She considers it a great joy and privilege to come alongside women and help them grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Stephanie, and her husband Rob, are the parents of three children. Their family enjoys hiking, outdoor adventures, and seeing the beauty of God’s creation. Tying Their Shoes is the first book they have written together.
